Our business still sends paper catalogs to our customers. We would like to be able to track in Acumatica who we send catalogs to.

I know there is a Mailings function in the customers profile. Would that be the best way to track? Each catalog would get a different “Mailing ID” to signify which catalog they received. We would also want to be able to use acumatica to determine who we should send catalogs to (based on sales history), is there a way to do that in Acumatica as well?

Hi @SBaldwin ,

We can create Custom Attribute on Customer/Contact with following details-
Last Catalog Sent
Catalog Type
Catalog Opt-In (Yes/No)

flow:
Customization → Attributes → Create Attribute → Attach to Customer or Contact

We can create GI to check history

hope above helps !!

Hey @SBaldwin ,

Do you have Customer Management Feature Enabled? Out of the box solution:

As upon enabling, we have a Marketing List (CR204000) feature to which we can send bulk mails:

Under the Mass Emails (CR308000) screen, user can mail out to the contacts defined under the Marketing List, user just need to select to which list they want to send the mail at once:

Now if the list of the customers is dynamic, you can make use of an Import scenario to update the Marketing List. You can create a GI to recognize the list of the customers to whom the catalogs should be sent out and that list could be used as a source of your import scenario.

Hope this helps!!
