How do I remove a navigation panel from a processing screen?

We recently upgraded to 23R2 and are wanting to remove some of the navigation panels that were added to the processing screens. Ie: Project Issues and Drawing Logs under the Project record. I thought that I would be able to remove through a customization to the screen, but when I try and remove, I get the error “Cannot remove system record”. I have also gone into the access rights by role and revoked permissions there, but that didn’t do anything. Can these not be removed, or is there someplace else I need to be looking for this setting?
