My customer have some short terms Projects . Projects Last for 2 ,3 days . They uses employee and Equipment time cards for Posting project costs.

The Challenge is since the Acumatica Time sheet is Weekly , they are not able to bill (T&M) the Customer when the project is complete . They have to wait until the week is closed.

How others are managing this type of projects  ? Any suggestions ?

@bigil have you looked at time activities instead of time cards? once released, those should create a project transaction that could then be pulled into the T&M billing.

@bigil for equipment, i’m not seeing anything similar to time activities.  i even tried to use the daily field report.  Here, the system creates an equipment time activity line however, it doesn’t look like you can release that as just an activity, only via the timecard.  it sounds like the client would need a customization to have the ability to release equipment time activities

@Heidi Dempsey @mike.gillum does acumatica have the ability to release equipment time activities?  i am not seeing anything in the time and expense module that would allow me to release equipment activities, only via timecard so just want to confirm

Thanks!

@iqraharrison Thanks for catching the wording.  I will see if we can get that changed.  Equipment only has timecards.  Time activities would be the way to post the hours.
