Error 'Account Group' cannot be found in the system on Project

Hi All,

When typing an non-stock item has account belong to Account Group type Liability, the system show the error 'Account Group' cannot be found in the system.

However we created this Account Group already

Do you have any idea for this issue?

Hi @chidao ,

I thinkthe error happens because the Account Group is a liability.  Cost Budget normally uses Expense account groups.

@chidao  Look at the posting class on the item and see what account group is assigned to the Expense Account.  This account group does need to be type Expense to be on the Cost Budget

HI @Heidi Dempsey the account group of Expense Account is ACRUPAY which is the same group with the account group has been type into Cost Budget

Hello @chidao ,

In the most recent post above, Liability Accounts are shown entered on the GL Accounts tab of Non-Stock item in place of Expense account. Second, the Selector screen shows Liability accounts, not Expense accounts. .

Liability accounts

Project Budget screen correctly limits user to accounts of Expense type.
