AR write off

system does not allow the write-off of partial amounts via the balance write-off screen. The amount is not editable there.

As a workaround, users can try this on a test tenant.

1. Create a credit memo and change the account to Write off  account and change the amount that the user wants to write off.

2. Apply a credit memo to the invoice.

@CJohnson15 that way i’ve always done it was create a credit memo and apply to the invoice.  I would upvote the idea anna shared!
