Session Expired

From past many days, we have been facing this issue in Acumatica.

While working on ongoing cases or business accounts, we get an alert of The Session has expired issue and sometime You are currently logged off.

Our Chrome is updated to the latest version and though we clear all cache and cookies, still after some days it gives the same error/alert.

The session timeout in web.config is set to 600 mins.

Hi @sanjayverma  In my past I have seen similar kind of issue.

In my case, I got the Session Expired issue due to memory leakage (graph is hiking up continuously and got session expired issue). We went back reviewed our code of each customization and found few gaps and fixed it.

  • Have you observed “Memory Utilization” and “CPU Utilization” in the System Monitor screen?
  • Also, Have you published customizations (during off business hours) and verified, and still getting the same issue ?

We did check the CPU utilization & Memory Utilization which seems to be fine. Regarding customizations, we tried publishing during production off hours as well. But it didn’t resolved the issue.

 

Please note that only 3 to 4 users are facing this issue and others are not facing it.

 

Please advise further steps.

Hi @sanjayverma 

Can you ask those users to clear browser cache/history and monitor (since issue is experienced by specific users). What browser are they using?

We already cleared browser cache/history. The users are using Chrome browser with latest version. However, it is not resolving the issue. 

The users are getting the same issue again and again.

Hi @sanjayverma  If you have not raised a support ticket, I would recommend you to raise a support ticket. They will review the additional logs from their end and let you know the exact root cause of this issue.

You are correct. We are raising a ticket now.

However, I believe that it is related memory leakage. but I don’t know how to find it out.

Could you please advise.

Hi @sanjayverma  But, you have confirmed that without customizations also, you are getting this issue right?

To check the memory leakage, please submit your code to technical expert from your team to review the code to identify if any bad code is written OR you can submit your Acumatica support team.

According to me, there is definitely a bad written and that is causing this issue. 

It’s still an issue.
