Restrict access scenario: Give a user access to specific branch should only view inventory quantity from other branches

Hi!

I have a specific scenario in MultiCompany/Branch environment related to access rights.

Our customer has 3 different stores and each store has a warehouse related. A user of one store should only have access to warehouse inventory from another store but it should not be able to work in other branch than the one that has been assigned. I dont see a feature that could help me with this (access roles, restriction groups, restrict visibility). 

Does anyone have a configuration like this?

Thanks but i don't think this'll work. the user need to see all warehouses inventory quantity on hand but it can't switch to another company using the toggle.

Thank you @kbeatty21 that is the way I configured. Let me explain a little more in detail:

I have a user that has access rights to work in one branch, in the next example is Products Wholesale:

 

And when the user is working a SO, it should be able to see inventory in the branch assigned warehouse and other warehouses:

But, user should not be able to work in another branch or putting in other words, toggle to another branch in the Company/Branch Toggle:

We have the same requirement--is there a way to allow users of one company to view the inventory of another company/branch without giving them branch access?

We don’t want to give users the ability to work out of warehouses that don’t belong to their branch; however, we want them to be able to view inventory levels in warehouses of other branches.

I don’t suppose any of you have found a solution?  We are constantly running into issues where users are adding the incorrect Warehouse to an SO line and selling from Branches that are completely disconnected from the SO source.

Correcting these issues is a nightmare.

I’m not a fan of the solution we implemented, but it’s the only thing that worked given the limitations of Acumatica.

We created a read-only “Warehouse Checker” role that has access to view different warehouse inventory screens. We then created a separate user for each person that needs to check inventory levels in other warehouses but should not be able to sell out of those warehouses.

So each person now has two logins. Their standard user (can only access their own branch) and a “standard user-whc” which has access to every branch’s inventory, but cannot actually do anything.

Yes. It’s a pain. No, I’m not thrilled we have to do this. Hopefully Acumatica gives a better solution to this issue soon.
