We are trying to create a new carrier for Easypost, and choose US units (Pound/Inch) for Carrier Units.  Both the LB (Pound) and IN (Inch) were defined in the Unit of Measure, however, only the LB is available for Pound, but the IN is not available for Inch in the Carrier Units section.  Does anyone experience the same issue?  Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

We are using 2024 R2 version.  Thanks...

OK, looks like IN is your base linear unit, so that is good. It should be showing up as an option simply because IN exists there.

I would remove the CFT conversion. I am wondering if that might be causing issues if there is a conflicting conversion.

There really should only be clean conversions on that screen and 1 IN does not equal 1 CFT.

See the two LB to KG conversions below. Both directions are necessary to make it available as an option for the carrier. There are no conflicting conversions.

The system needs a conversion factor from IN to whatever your base linear measurement is and from your base linear measurement to IN. This will be defined on CS203500

On your companies screen (CS101500), I am thinking IN is not your linear UOM. This is fine as long as you have a conversion factor defined to convert to and from the base.

Hi @bwhite49,

Thanks for the advise!  As we double check the setting in our system, and it looks like there is a conversion factor defined.  We still not sure what is missing.

Hi @bwhite49,

Still no IN available after we removed the CFT conversion factor.

OK, does an IN conversion exist on the CFT UOM?

Pretty confusing problem. I’m thinking there must be something wrong on the UOM screen.

We don’t see the IN conversion exist on the CFT UoM.
