The favicon displays a small icon in the browser tab and sometimes the address bar (depending on the browser).
The default favicon color is blue. It’s visually confusing when looking at the tabs when your sandbox is one color but the favicon is still the default blue.
Look at my second screenshot -- the sandbox (dashboard page) is Magenta, but the favicon for the browser is the default blue. I often have multiple tabs open with live and sandbox pages. I may have two generic inquiry tabs open -- one live, one sandbox -- and yet both favicons are blue, making it difficult to tell visually which is which by looking at the tab.
Changing the favicon would make things quicker visually, vs having to click through tabs.
What are you trying to accomplish? To change the color of the sandbox? Or the menu?
Can you provide more details?
Like in my example here -- look at the color of the icon on the far right of my bookmarks bar (circled green), which is for the acumatica forums here. The favicon is a lighter blue, differentiating it from Acumatica’s darker default blue. Visually, I know default blue is ‘Acumatica’ and the lighter robin egg blue is ‘forum’.
I want the favicons of my sandbox (circled in yellow) to match the *color* of my sandbox -- magenta.
