Example of Row Set Import Scenario for ARM Report

Forum|alt.badge.img

Could anyone provide a screenshot of a Row Set Import Scenario for ARM Reports? I am just a little confused on how the Data Source portion works. We normally just setup the reports manually, but this is our first customer who has several hundred lines per report so we would much rather import the bulk. The Data Sources will be “Start Account”, “End Account”, “Start Sub”, and “End Sub”.

Hi @rebeckamckinney53

One can export the ARM report with Rowset and Column set using ‘Export to XML’ and ‘Import from XML’ option similar to the Generic inquiry export and import.

Hope this helps,

Regards,

@Manikanta Dhulipudi I ended up just manually creating one and I was only able to put the Row Number and Row Name in it. I was never able to figure out how to get the Data Source import portion to work. So I just imported the names and then manually selected the source.

@vkumar I was looking more for a solution for when we first setup a report in Acumatica. We normally have an excel sheet with each line on the report and then the account number it points to. I wanted to see if it is possible to import that using Import Scenarios. Like I said above, I was only ever able to get the row name imported that way. Never able to import the accounts because I couldn’t figure out how to import into the data sources field.

Hi @rebeckamckinney53

I’ve prepared the import scenario to import row sets.
