Create email from Case screen CR306000, the subject line is in correct

Forum|alt.badge.img

After upgraded to 23.110.0025 from 22R1, we have noticed that there is change when creating email activity from case (CR306000). In previous version, the default subject line would be "[Case #((Case.CaseCD))]  (Case.Subject), now is “Summary:1”.

We do have a lot of email templates associated with CR306000, but it looks like there is no default template associate with case email anymore, what is the reason behind this and is there a fix?

Also, when replying to customer email, “Select template” action is now putting template content to bottom of the email, which is incorrect!

We have identified that our customization project is causing the issue.  By unpublishing the project, the subject shows up correctly.

The reason we have dbdefault value for subject field is we was trying to save key in subject line for Notes, tasks.

Hi @woodyg84

Please create a support request ticket for this subject title issue, this looks like a bug.  This issue was fixed in 23R1 (AcumaticaERP_2023R1_ReleaseNotes_Other_Enhancements.pdf (acumatica-builds.s3.amazonaws.com)

As for the template content moving to the bottom of the email, this is something that we fixed as well. Please raise a separate ticket for this issue as well.

Cheers,

Jin
