Good morning. I have a client who needs to generate recurring sales orders to fulfill a quarterly magazine subscription. In an attempt at creating the most streamlined account setup workflow, I have proposed this solution:1) Create Customer Template for Magazine Style (4 to chose from)2) Store Subscription details in the Customer Attributes with details Then trigger automated Sales Order Generation based off of Customer Attributes. However, this last part in the process has proven to be above my head. My general concept was to create a GI that would pull customers that match this profile, then generate a sales order from 1 of 4 templates, using 1 variable from the Customer Attribute (qty of magazine line items per order). Here is a screen shot of my attributes setup.Build 19.205.0023 Any ideas on how to make this happen or another better idea that is more simple?
I created a template for adding specific line items to a sales order. When the line items are added, I want the Manual Price flag to be unchecked. I marked the manual price flag as False in the template. However, when the template is applied, the manual price checkbox is marked as true.
One of my clients sells magazines. Historically their item MAGAZINESKU was purchased as a finished good from a single vendor who produced the entire item. Now, however, the magazine is being produced by two vendors. One produces the covers (COVERSKU) and the other produces the inside pages (INSIDESKU). These are still sold as the MAGAZINESKU item. What is the best way to go about purchasing COVERSKU and INSIDESKU then assembling them to create the finished good of MAGAZINESKU in inventory?If I was starting from a blank slate, this seems like a clear Stock Kit with Kit Assembly. However, MAGAZINESKU already exists as a Finished Good and it is NOT already setup as a KIT. I do not believe I can simply convert it to a kit. When I try to modify an existing Document Template by adding an additional line, it will not save the data. The View and Type columns both will automatically be emptied to NULL whenever I tab through the columns and try to move on to the next line. How do I create a shortcuts for Create Blanket Sales Order on the Sales Order Menu and on the Customers three dots menu? I’m trying to easily go from creating a customer to creating a blanket sales order in a single click.
I found a series of Business Accounts that were assigned to an Owner (employee) Lisa Short. This employee is now deactivated and these accounts throw an error when trying to generate sales orders via an Import Scenario or API call. However, I cannot figure out how to pull a GI of Business accounts associated to this Employee because the values do not pull any filtered results;
