I had a client today ask me directly what the requirements are for a system email account. They had initially setup a group email list, not a true mailbox and I knew that was likely not acceptable. There are several tiers for the actual mailbox with differing prices. There is an email kiosk account that is most affordable, and limits the inbox size to 2GB. Is the size of that mailbox any sort of Acumatica requirement, or is this just dependent on how much email the users expect to have coming through? The costs involved are relatively minor but I wanted to be prepared when I follow up.
We have a customer planning to implement service integration soon and they are asking if it is possible to visually arrange the calendar board by shared appointments for staff members, instead of staff members being listed alphabetically. The screenshot below he’d like to see staff members who are teamed up next to each other (i.e. 1&4, 2&6, 3&5). Is there any way to do this, or is this more likely a developer/customization? Thanks in advance for any thoughts anyone could provide on this request.
We have had some clients run into fairly frequent issues with the Outlook plugin stopping or ceasing to function. There are community posts out there related to removing the cache files. For some users this can be somewhat onerous or difficult for them to manage. To make this easier, I’ve created a batch file for windows. This batch file:shuts down active Teams and Outlook processes Deletes the folders and files associated with the file path: %localappdata%\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Wef\To install, just unzip the file and have the user put it in an easy to find location (desktop, temp folder etc). This will not uninstall the plugin or reinstall it, but may help some users who are having periodic problems with the plugin ceasing to function. Also note, this may only be applicable to the Outlook desktop app.If anyone has other suggestions I can modify or add to the tool.
Good morning all. I’ve created an export scenario that pulls data from a GI to generate a positive pay CSV file. The particular requirement right now is to encase the payee name field with a single set of quotes. I have the data provider set to not put quotes on all fields. The field for the payee is set as a string. If I use a Concat command like this: Concat(”’,[Field],’”’) it looks right on the prepare to export screen. Upon downloading the exported result, I am getting data that looks like this:,previous field,”””PayeeName”””Is there another way that I can add the quotes that won’t cause the export to generate three sets?
Currently the functionality in Production Order Details screen will allow you to put an in process production order on hold and then edit the materials required for operation steps which are completed. There is no indication that you should not do this, other than knowing that you can’t make changes that will actually be utilized in those completed steps. The system lets you make the change and save it (for instance, adding another material to the list). You can then remove the hold and continue processing the production order, however the change you made does not get utilized. You can see that the quantity required is in that operation, but the quantity used is 0.Some manufacturers, particularly those who make custom product, may find themselves in the position of making changes during the assembly process between the time the order is released and when it is completed. While it is understood that only personnel properly trained should be making changes to production orders, currently
I’m attempting to troubleshoot a problem we’re seeing on a client site running 22.205.0026 where the production order hyperlink on the Operations Tab of the Multiple Production Clock Entry form does not create the pop-up for the order. On the Clock Entries tab, the link will work. More puzzling is that I’ve tried the link on different sites and do not have the problem (one was the same release as mentioned above).I believe I’ve added the site to my pop up allow list for the browser. I’ve tried different browsers after checking the pop up setting. I’ve made sure all customizations were unpublished and still cannot click that particular hyperlink. I’ve also experimented with production order type settings to see if that has any affect but have not found a setting that has any impact on the link problem.Has anyone else encountered the issue? I’ve been combing through the known issues list and am not finding a specific topic that explains this problem.
I’ve been trying to build a subreport (basically a copy of the trial balance report) that would pull the 12th period ending balances for each account and pass that value to the standard Trial Balance. I can get the subreport to show values if I run it directly but the value never shows on the original. Am I missing something or is there an inherent problem with trying to get this value into the same report? I’ve attached the report (GL632EMS) and subreport (GL632e99) to this topic. If anyone can point to me what my issue is I much appreciate the assist!
Good morning all. I’m attempting to assist a client using GL account/subaccount restriction and having issues with it. I’m going to provide a stripped down description of what I’ve tried and I appreciate if anyone could jump in with a suggestion on how to make this work. For sake of example, let’s say we have your basic chart of accounts using 10000-19999 for assets, 20000-39999 liabilities, 40000-49999 revenues, 50000-59999 COGS expenses, and 60000-99999 for various other categories of expenses. They also have subaccounts, so for keeping it simple lets say there’s a default 0000, and then AAAA, BBBB, and CCCC. The client would like to restrict 0000 such that it cannot be used for accounts 40000-99999. After reading the help file, I created two groups.Group 1 Type A. This group had all users, every account 40000-99999, and subaccounts AAAA, BBBB, and CCCC.Group 2 Type A inverse. All users, every account 40000-99999, and only subaccount 0000. That seems to work fine when dealing with ac
