@vkumar see screenshot below, kindly let me know if that's how this should be setup.
Any input on this question will be very helpful. Thanks in advance.
@Chris Hackett I didn't find a solution for this yet.
@Sai Chettiar Thanks for sharing this idea, but this would only be a solution when you create a shipment for each sales order individually but wont work if you wish to process shipments in bulk for a lot sales orders at the same time, is that correct? Also this still don't give you the flexibility to have more than one shipment open for a sales order at the same time, right?
@Chris Hackett Not yet, still looking for a solution, it would be a great help.
@Chris Hackett Yes, I did.since the restriction groups does not effect the item line level in excising documents but does effect on the item master record, i added the inventory item table to the GI and that removed SO lines with items outside of the users group.
@Dana Moffat I want to circle back to check if any improvements on this coming soon, this really bugs down our warehouse process, since we’re only creating the shipments in last minute to gain the extra time to make changes in the SO, and we simply cannot leverage the advantage of Acumatica ERP in our pick, pack, ship process. Please let me know.
@Naveen Boga once I try to expose the attribute field with a formula I’m getting an error that the attribute field in only a virtual field, I used the attribute field directly from the the inventory item data class, do I have to expose it from a different table?
@Naveen Boga I entered a “Decimal” field in the Schema field and worked fine, however when I try to filter my data with the header filters I’m getting an error saying “Object must be of type Decimal” and it doesn't filter the data.Note, My data is decimal numbersPlease let me know if any solution to get this accomplished, Thank you
@lauraj46 I had the same issue as described above and I followed your solution above not to convert the data type and just add a decimal field in the Schema Field, however when I try to filter the values from the header filters I’m getting an error that says “Object must be of type Decimal”can you please help me solve this issue?
@lauraj46 Yes, they’re all numeric values with decimals or just blank.were you able to perform a between filter as well? to get the values between two numbers.
@manikantad18 Would you mind explain more detailed your reply, I’m having a hard time to get it correctly.Just to clarify my requirement, I have an email template triggered by a business event when the status of a sales order has changed, the system behavior is that it defaults the owner field in the email activity to the Admin, I would like the system to assign the owner of the email activity to the user who created the sales order. Please let me know, Thank you very much.
