Hi
Does your version of Report Designer match your site version? The report designer for 2024 R2 does not work with previous versions, and vice versa. If this is the issue, you can download the matching version at builds.acumatica.com.

I would like to add to the previous answer that starting from Acumatica 2024r207 Report Designer should support both new and old sites.
However, old Report Designer apps from old Acumatica versions (2023r2 and older) can’t work with newer Acumatica sites(2024r2 and newer).

As below Knowledgebase blog, Starting from Acumatica ERP 2024 R2 version, the Report Designer API was migrated from ASP.NET Web Services to .NET Core. Due to that, the Report Designer application instances installed with earlier versions of Acumatica ERP are no longer compatible with Acumatica ERP 2024 R2 server.
