Does anyone have any tips relating to KPI Dashboards on a big screen TV?  Couple issues:

  1.  The system will boot out the login after 15 minutes of inactivity.  Have setup a dummy login with limited permissions only to particular dashboard.  How to setup so don’t have to login every few hours?
  2. Any hardware recommendations?  Mini-PC or Android something?

Thanks you

You can’t change the default timeout as far as I am aware. You might need a browser extension that does an automatic refresh on a schedule. This is a theory only, you’d need to try it.

I’m pretty happy with the Asus Mini PC PB62. It’s not as small as other Mini PCs but performs really well. MSI Cubi are not bad also, but can be a bit slow when doing things like Windows Updates. They’re fine once fully configured.

No worries. Please report back on how you get on. I’d be curious to hear if the browser extension did the trick and which hardware you went with.

@RoyceLithgo Thanks again for the above response.  I’m using this browser extension:

Combined with these mini-pc’s.

So far, I’m really impressed with these little units.  I’m not sure if the hardware will go the distance...but its all solid state.  They are light and fit nicely behind the screen with some 3M velcro strips.  Combined with a wireless keyboard and mouse, works great.   For the price, its worth the experiment.
