When in a separate window or list, how can I scroll instead of using the Next or Previous pages buttons?

Hi @RhonnieG,

We were shown a way to do this through a no code customization where you can change this option on some of the screens. We have done this on the Sales Order entry screen but you can investigate what other screen it would work. As far as I understand, this would not be possible on the small dialog boxes, but I could be wrong.

Please see the screenshot below of the option.

If you are talking about a Generic Inquiry, Go to the Customization and change the number of records per page.  This will allow you to scroll whatever number you put in without having to click to the next page.

I’m not sure if my reply made it through but I am not asking about any specific window, just any window or list that has more than 1 page to it. I know there has to be a way to scroll through all the items instead of using Next and Previous Page.

Hi @RhonnieG,

I believe Acumatica does not display all records in a single window at once. Instead, it loads and displays records in smaller chunks or batches. This approach is implemented to optimize system performance and ensure smooth user interactions, especially when dealing with large datasets. By limiting the number of records shown at a time, Acumatica can prevent potential performance issues, such as slow loading times or system lag, that might occur if it tried to render all records simultaneously.

Hope, it helps!

Hi @RhonnieG

This is how Acumatica is programed. It has always been this way. I’ve heard this complaint from many users that it does take time to be accustomed to.

I would look at @keithw63 ‘s suggestion with your GI’s.

Thank you for this! I may need different access to get there but at least this gets me going!
