In Finance → Manage Financial Periods, can I close month one of the new fiscal year if month 13 of the prior year is still open?

Hello,

If you try to close month 1 of the new fiscal year, Acumatica will automatically select month 13 of the prior year at the same time.

We can close multiple periods at the same time, but we cannot “skip around”.

Members of Financial Supervisors role may post to closed periods, if needed, so long as the periods are Closed and not Locked.

What Laura said above is absolutely correct.  One additional thing that you may be able to consider is if you are able to close out specific modules to prevent additional posting in them.  This would also close them in period 13, but generally period 13 is primarily just used for creating adjustment journal entries.  I.e. Close out AP and AR to prevent new transactions in those specific modules.
