Hey team, I have just update to the latest of 2023R1 build 23.120.0004. Now I have downloaded 2023R2  23.206.0006 and installed it on the server, however, trying to run the update via erp config wizard, but im getting error that this build is newer and is not supported. What am I doing wrong? Im trying to update to 2023R2 and after move to 2024r1.

Upgrade process has been interrupted. The database cannot be upgraded because your current build (23.120.0004) is incompatible with the build (23.206.0006) you want to install. Wait for the next update package that will be compatible with your current build.

Hello @dpruckus ,

The selected build version is incompatible for upgrade.

You can install 2023R2 build 23.217.0011 [update 17] to update the 2023R1 build 23.120.0004.

Here is the MSI link.

https://acumatica-builds.s3.amazonaws.com/builds/23.2/23.217.0011/AcumaticaERP/AcumaticaERPInstall.msi

Here are the upgrade notes:

Upgrade notes
You can upgrade your Acumatica ERP instance to 2023 R2 Update 17 if you have any of the following builds
installed:
• 2022 R1 Update 26 (22.126.0004) and earlier
• 2022 R2 Update 23 (22.223.0007) and earlier
• 2023 R1 Update 20 (23.120.0004) and earlier

Let me know if you need more information on this.

Hope this helps!

Hello @dpruckus ,

As suggested by @quantumlingual, you can upgrade 2023R1 build 23.120.0004 directly to 2024R1 latest build 24.113.0010.

Make sure you validate the customization before the upgrade.

Hi @dpruckus ,

Yes! You can. Build 2023 R1 Update 15 (23.115.0031) and earlier are eligible to upgrade directly to 2024R1 build 24.101.0059. Make sure you select the right 2024R1 build.

Interestingly, on my test, I have  23.120.0004 installed, and want to update to 2024r1 24.101.0059. But I'm getting unsupported version error. However the notes read

You can upgrade your Acumatica ERP instance to 2024 R1 Update 1 if you have any of the following builds installed:

• 2022 R2 Update 22 (22.222.0013) and earlier

• 2023 R1 Update 15 (23.115.0031) and earlier

• 2023 R2 Update 9 (23.209.0023) and earlier

Hi @dpruckus ,

The 2024R1 build 24.101.0059 supports 2023 R1 Update 15 (23.115.0031) and earlier. Like I mentioned previously, I recommend you to upgrade to the 2024R1 build 24.113.0010 which is the latest build.

Looks like updating to 2024R1 is not possible via ERP. I probably must contact AC support for this. Thanks for the answers.
