Mobile App Generic Inquiry - date filter defaults to (Todays date) when I modify Project Filter.

On the mobile screen of a generic inquiry I am having issues with the Filter. On the filter [From Date] from & [To Date] , I have the default value as @StartMonth & @EndMonth. When I Open the screen the filters work properly like this: 

Once I add change the project filter, the values change to todays date like this:

I’ve gone over the parameters and cant find anything that stands out. 

Any Ideas of what this could be?
