Import Scenario Action: Copy BOM

​@billys12 Please check values for two fields below.

Your BOM id field - you have giving an fixed value which will create only one BOM also in the dialog answer value you need to make it as 'Copy' but make it as 'Yes'

​@lauraj46, I appreciate the response, However, I had already seen that post and i have tried a ton of different configurations, with using the different target options as well as different values and trying it before and after the action line. wondering if there is something else i am missing. for grins, i swapped it around again and tried it. in this example, i get an error telling me the requested value ‘Copy’ was not found.

​@ranjithduraisamy72 are you saying i need both Copy and Yes dialog answers? i have been getting errors when i try to use ‘Copy’.

Yes, COPY dialog answer will not work. you need to use ‘Yes’. 

Have you tried it by importing from Import by scenario screen?

Don’t use hardcoded value for BOM ID as it should unique.

​@Nilkanth Dipak, I am using a business event on the change of a user field to take the BOM ID of ‘RETOOL’ and make a copy of it where the new BOM id is the part number and the suffix of ‘-RETOOL’

should the target for the dialog answer line be BOM or Copy BOM?
