How to process Inventory borrowing and lending in Acumatica.

HiI have a requirement as follows.One of our customer is borrowing and lending inventory items with a third party company.in this operation no cash involvement will be happened and only the inventory will be exchanged between both parties. Here to record the lending, they keep a virtual warehouse and transfer the inventory which is being lent to that third party company. and once they return those items, our customer is transfering those items from that virtual warehouse to their actual warehouse. But when they borrow inventory from the third party company, they do not record it in the system and utilize them for projects without doing any GRN or issuing. They are keeping a provision only with estimated values. But when our customer is returning items back to the third party company, items will be issuing through inventory issue and if there is any variance between the provision and the real inventory cost that amount will be charged to the P and L. EPApproval table refnotid that shows AP Bill, will not show up same result on Email Template

Team, I am using a GI to send reminders of Pending Approval for AP Bills, I am using the PX.Objects.EP.EPApproval, which is also the base for my email Template, and the only field that has the AP Bill Reference number is refNoteID, but when put as full code: On the GI, it shows as follows: According to me, this was working when I tested, but seems that something change, or I may be off a little bit, and it never worked. I could not relate the APINVOICE or any other talbe to the EPAPPROVAL table to get the related billl reference number to make this work. I really appreciate any insight. I put the GI attached.

Setting user's email address for outgoing emails

We created a system email account for the user.We assigned it to the user on the Email Accounts Screen as shown. The reply address was populated as well on this screen.When I log in as this user, and email a sales order, PO, etc. the email says it is from the default email account in email preferences. We want it to say it was emailed from this user’s email address.

Attaching a note to a new shipment at the time of creation

We are finding that when users create a shipment from an order and try to save a record-level note, they intuitively think that saving will both create the shipment and attach the note. The best option we can have found to successfully attach a record-level note is to have them create the record (save), enter the note, then save again.Any suggestions that would make this process more intuitive would be very welcome.

Repay Version 24.0814.0 "Error: GetItemExtension failed" and "AR Error: Credit card processing error. Internal : Object reference not set to an instance of an object." Acumatica 2024 R1

One of my clients recently upgraded to Acumatica Cloud ERP 2024 R1, Build 24.106.0018+. They also installed Repay version 24.0814.0, the latest release as of August 16, 2024 (sourced at https://releases.repay.com/label/31329). Since installing this version, they have encountered partial functionality issues.I can add a payment method to a customer account and create a payment. However, when attempting to capture the payment, no transaction is created in Repay, and I receive the following error message: "Error during request processing. Transaction ID: 5964, Error: GetItemExtension failed." Additionally, I've created a sale in the Repay Virtual Terminal and tried to record that payment in Acumatica. When I go to Payments, add the payment method, and attempt to record the credit card payment, I get the following error: "AR Error: Credit card processing error. Internal: Object reference not set to an instance of an object." Finally, when I try to create a payment method from the customer

Email Template for Single Remittance Advice and Remittance Advice

Hi,We can share remittance advices through the process of “Print/Email AP remittance Advice” and by Send/Print Remittance Advice on the checks and payment form.Noticed that once we send through Print/Email AP remittance Advice system generates the report Remittance Advice(MBAP6000) but when sending through Checks and Payments it generated the report called Single Remittance Advice (MBAP6010).And the email content shared with both emailing options are different. I cant use the same template for both options. I have created two templates, but I’m not sure where to define the templates for each option.Could you please help here?Thank You,Dulanjana

Does anyone know where I can find the Access Rights needed to allow a Role to Recalculate Price on a Sales Order?As an Admin, I have this permission, but the Sales Base Role we have doesn’t have the option.We are currently on version 2023 R1.

It looks like Compare Wiki Article Versions disappeared in v2023R2. Is there a replacement? Can we no longer do this?

The Versioned selection box still exists on the Wiki Properties tab, but the History tab and it’s functionality no longer appear and when I search the Acu help articles, I can see the relevant help articles exist is v2023R1 but not in v2023R2. We’re currently upgrading to 2024R1 and this is functionality I use regularly. Is it entirely gone, or been moved to some other feature? I can’t find anything related in the release notes. Perhaps I’m just missing something? the help articles available in v2023R1 and earlier The history tab of a wiki article and the actions available on it

Amazon Connector Down?

Did anyone else have their Amazon Connector quit working this morning? Mine has been down for about 5 hours. I have tried the steps I know but haven’t been able to restore the connection. I am receiving the errors found at the end of this post. We are on Acumatica 2022R2 Build 22.219.0015What I tried: Tested Connection - Failed Ran Cloud Services Diagnostics (SM205090) - everything was successful Updated to the latest connector version (2023 R2 Update 11 updated to 2023 R2 Update 13) This was the problem last time we had a connection error. Re-Authorizing Amazon Connection (second screenshot below).I have opened a ticket with my VAR, but was hoping someone here may have a solution as my VAR has been a bit slow to respond lately. Emails copying sender every time

Hey, Whenever I send out and process an email, it copies the email to the sender. This has left our customer service account flooded by transaction emails. Is there a way to turn off copying the sender on emails?

Unit of measure appearing in new tenant. Snapshotted tenant does not contain the UOM.

Hello,I’ve not encountered this before. Take a full snapshot of a tenant that does not contain the UOM “Bottles”.Restore the snapshot into a newly created test tenant.The Units of measure screen in the new tenant has “Bottles” (and a few more that do not exist in the source tenant.I have no idea where these UOMs could be coming from in the new tenant.

Business Events "For Each Record" and "Once for All Records"

I have setup a BE with a GI so when the appointment closed status, it will email a notification. It is working fine if the appointment changes to Closed status. However, if after Closed, users Unclose it and Closed it again for multiple time and it will also trigger the BI multiple times. How do I make it to trigger only 1 time? I tried using Once for all records but it is not working. Can anyone explain how do we use Once for All records? and what is the difference with For Each Record? Thank you.

Outlook plugin limitations

There is no option to login via SSO for Outlook plugin. It just have an option to enter local credentials. While searching online, this issue was almost from beginning. Is Acumatica not looking to improve this feature from several years? Why ? Also, Looks like, It doesn’t support new Outlook mode (Currently, Microsoft has replaced legacy Outlook) as the login window gets disappeared after entering credentials. Has anyone faced such issue?

Lock entire Sales Orders screen except for 1 field via security

Hello,They would like to give their shippers rights to change the “Sched. Shipment” date on the shipping tab of the sales orders screen. But that is all. Everything else is locked. This seems like a big undertaking, and I fear they will get to the end and find some fields are unavailable for locking in the access rights by role screen. Anyone else done anything like this successfully? Setting the upper level Sales Orders screen to view only and setting this specific field as “EDIT” did not work because of the higher level setting of “View Only” on the screen itself.

Fixed Asset Depreciation

We are importing assets from existing software to MYOB Acumatica. Once converted, it recalculate the depreciation and some of the assets still carry the net book value even though the asset has fully depreciated.For example:This cash draw bough in Oct 2018 with the useful life of 5 years (20%).It should be fully deprecated in Oct 2023 (period 4-2024), however in this case this asset still has a net value of $18.98?

Error updating Multi-Select combobox during import scenario

Change UoM conversion

Is it possible to change a unit of measure conversion for a material item after a production order has been made with that item as a material? I am going to assume no but just wanted to check.We have completed and closed 1 production order that used a stock item as a material. The original conversion isFrom Unit: LBSMultiply/Divide: DivideConversion: 5To Unit: EA I want to change the conversion to 45. The production order has been completed and closed.
