Purchase Order Change Order

How does one issue a Purchase Order Change order? Not a Project Change, but a change to an Open Purchase order that indicates it is a change to the previous version of the Purchase order.

At present, one can track changes made to the document by using ‘Audit history’. However, there is no option to available to track changes using a version number.

Yes, you can track PO changes in Acumatica without using the Project module, but you won’t have the full Change Order Management functionality available through Projects.

For a standard PO, you can use PO revisions/history, audit/history tracking, and approval workflows to monitor changes to quantities, prices, dates, and other PO fields. If you need formal change-order numbers, versioning, approvals, and a clear audit trail, you would typically need either the Project module or a customization.
