Import Scenario - Zip Code String

I have created an import scenario for orders, but the international orders will not import.  How / what code do I need to use to allow the international zips to load (alpha numeric) and then to have Hong Kong default to 00000 (they don’t have a zip code) .This is what we are using now:  =IIf(( Len([bill-postal-code])=4), ('0'+[bill-postal-code]),(Substring([bill-postal-code],0,5)))

We would like to change a Unit of Measure UOM of an existing stock item from EA to FT (Foot).  We want to learn the proper procedure to do this.  I trust there is a simple process for this.  Please advise.

UPS Smart Shipment Mapping Errors

This client has recently started having an issue where when they import Acumatica shipments into UPS Worldship, the shipment number from Acumatica fills into the zip code in UPS Worldship. Has anyone else seen this?

Physical Inventory Adjustment splitting adjustment to wrong sub account

Hello, we have an issue where we posted a PI and there was an item that was being adjusted down by a qty of 13 in the warehouse and was entered on a single tag.  In the adjustment that was posted this was split into 2 lines for a qty of 10 and a qty of 3.  The 10 booked to the correct sub account but the 3 went to a default sub account. We have it configured to use the sub account at the warehouse setup for inventory transactions.  The items do not have locations and are not serial or lot and we are using average cost.This happened on about 10 items out of 300 total counted items.I can’t determine why those 3 booked to the default sub account rather than the correctly mapped one.

Bill / Ship separately setting for customers

Hello,Order types have a checkbox setting for“Ship Separately” and “Bill Separately”However, I do not see where we can designate this for a customer.We have some customers who want this and some who do not and we need to control it at the customer level.Any thoughts or guidance are appreciated!

Hello, It is common that you create “Cash Customer” and by the end of the day you have a list of POS Orders for the same customer, like this: Is it possible that those five POS order create just one invoice? is there a feature in the module?

Need to Make Project wise Approvals for Purchase Requisition

Hi,  We have attached Approval Process Flows to build.    Following Points need to be considered. (01).  Considering One Project, there are 3 Employees are fixed.         Ex: Level 01-  Quantity Survey Approved then Transfer to Project Manager or Site Manager(Parallelly Approval). This staff only responsible for One project.(02). Head Office QS is Responsible for multiple Projects.(03).  Divisional Heads also responsible for Multiple Projects.(04). Then AGM and Two Parallelly Approval Level.  Need to Build the Approval Logic for Purchase Requisition.  RegardsNethupul

Pick Pack Ship Help - Client has work flow issues with how Acumatica deals with shipping?

 Good Morning Forum Members,We are currently in an implementation with our client. I have reached out to support and escalated the issue, but unable to get a sufficient response for the client. They have several process work flow issues with how Acumatica handles shipping. These are some concerns they have with Pick, Pack, Ship features:What happens if they are picking an order into totes and the tote is full? The Pick, Pack, Ship screen requires the user to enter a tote ID for each shipment in the picklist. However, when that tote is full, can the user scan another tote ID for the shipment?Can multiple picklists be shipped together?Can we re-open a package to add additional items? Once confirmed, is there a way to re-open packages to add additional items?Are they able to combine shipments after the picking is done? Thank you in advance, I would really appreciate some insight on this process.

Business Accounts "Mass" removal of Duplicates/Fathom accounts

Good afternoon,i have a mess to clean up with integration that created multiple fathom business/customer accounts with the same name but a different account number.  They created when the integration went out of control.  Now, i need away to clean up and delete these  business accounts/ customer profile.  Any suggestions?  Import Scenario?  I don’t want to manually have delete them.Thank youEvan

Allocate Qty to Sales Order with Approvals

I understand the overarching design of approvals is to lock a document once approved, needing the document to be placed on hold to be changed and resubmitted for approval and in many cases this make sense.However, once a sales order is approved it seems Acumatica (2021 R2) is also preventing stock from being allocated to the sales order.  This seems a little to restrictive as it prevents order / inventory management without putting it back on hold, allocating stock, and then having to re-submit for approval.Has anyone found a work around for this scenario?

Displaying multiple attributes in one column ( Size ranges) GI or reports

HiIn apparel business we are using multiple size ranges and at the moment i have problem with displaying them in one column in GI or reports   some of size ranges  Attributes of size rangesI tired to use simple formula =IsNull( [InventoryItem.SR-1_Attributes], IsNull( [InventoryItem.SR-2_Attributes], IsNull( [InventoryItem.SR_3_Attributes]….. )))to display them in one column that is partly working, as I have them in one column , but as result is only displaying them as Value ID (0401,0402...) and cannot get display attribute Description (XS, S, M ...) in that column.Is there any better way to do it ?

Unit of Measure Defaulting Rules (i.e. global UOM, item class, etc) - Can we have global conversions for basic measures (i.e. meters to feet, lbs to kg, etc)

I have been playing with the defaulting rules in Acumatica for Units of Measure. You can set global Units of Measure on the Units of Measure Form (CS203100). You can also set Units of Measure for item classes in the Item Classes screen (IN201000).In either case, it seems like the only way to have these units of measure appear for a given item in a Sales Order is to actually add that Unit of Measure to that individual item’s unit of measure conversion rules (the conversion rules will be defaulted per the above, with any item level relationship taking precedence over any item class relationship and with any item class relationship taking precedence over any global relationship.However, what I haven’t been able to figure out how to do is to say “for every item in this item class, have a conversion from feet to meters, so that we can quote the item in both feet and meters. This relationship will always be 1 foot = .3048 meters, so let’s apply that to every item where we want this relations

Sales Quote(CR604500) to include Ship to address

We are trying to show the ship to on the Sales quote but not having any luck finding the link.  We want to use the ship address in the opportunity and it comes from the CRShippingAddress table.  What would be the best way to link them?  We have tried the @opportunity @quote  but it doubles prints each item in the quote.

Location wise costing enable with FIFO issue method

Hi, There was a requirement that user needs to keep different Item Costing track in different locations under the same warehouse. Ex: Item A -- Location A Cost =10$     // 100 Qty  //   GRN : 01-Feb-2020      Item A -- Location B Cost =20$     // 200 Qty  //   GRN : 01-Jan-2021      Item A -- Location C Cost  =0$     // 300 Qty  //   GRN : 01-Dec-2021User need to issue from Location C(With 0$ cost Items), but when select the Location C, system is considering oldest stock first. As a result system issued from Location A.(GRN : 01-Feb-2020).If we enable Location costing, when we select the Location C , system issued 0$ stocks item from Location C. Not considering entire warehouse.Need to verify the Practice.  RegardsNethupul

Importing a PO and linking it to an appointment detail line

I have a client who is attempting to import open POs and open Appointments/Service Orders. Is there a way to create a PO who’s lines are linked to demand (mark for po)from specific appointments? Currently if the appointment demands items be purchased the po will be linked to the appt. Can I do that retroactively? Can I import an appt. which has line items marked for PO, then import a PO with those requested items and link them together?

Can I add more actions, like "Release from hold" to Process order screen (SO501000)

Hello,       I have a need to release lots of on hold SOs on schedule in batch.The simplest way I can think of is to use the “process orders” screen with set schedule.       However, on this screen, we don’t have “Release from hold” action.Is there a way to add it into the list?

Displaying Item purchase hsitory on/from PO screen

Hello,    I’d like to show purchasing history (Unit cost and qty) on selection of each  item on POline.I firstly thought it would be achevied by side panel. But item id on po line can not be passed on to side panel easily.   In the above artile, this might be a way, but it is too complex that I would like to try it last.Is there any other can help me acheive my goal. I mean, side panel is an option. Also, something like pop up window can be accepted, just how to do it.  Or navigation to another screen with the line selection parameter can also help.Please advise.

How can i process returns for serialized items that were sold prior to going live with Acumatica?

We use serial numbers for many of our products.  Our inventory in Acumatica is accurate as of date we went live.  The problem is we sometimes need to process a return for sales completed in our old systems and Acumatica does not know about the serial numbers for those sales so we are unable to process the return in Acumatica as its asking for the serial number but when we enter them, the system does not accept it.  So we are stuck and don't know how to process and create credit memos and generate serials for such returns. Anyone knows best practice for handling this?

Having trouble understanding Approvals

HI All, @Olesia Alpeeva, I am having trouble getting the following PO workflow to work .  please see screenshots in attached.   The PO Approval process should be as follow’s:-Step 1All PO’s go person A & B.  Both must approve. IF the PO is under $15,000 the PO is approved.   This step works fine.If the PO is over $15,000 move to the next Step.   Step 2                                          If the PO is over $15,000 and the country in ShipTo field is ‘AU’ or ‘NZ’ the PO needs to go to Rachael to be approved. If under $150,000 the PO may be approved. If the PO is over $15,000 and the country in ShipTo field is not ‘AU’ or ‘NZ’ the PO needs to go to Robert to be approved. If under $150,000 the PO may be approved.I can not get Step 2 to work properly. it does get allocated to Rachel and Robert and Approved but does not move on to the next approvers.  Status is “Pending Approval” but no next allocation is applied in the Approval tab.Step 3If the PO is over $150,000 and the approver i

Sales Order Workflow for Cash Payments

Hello everyone,I’m having issues trying to create an extended workflow that allows Acumatica to override Customers On Credit Hold.Here is the scenario: Customer is on credit hold or has exceeded the credit hold limit. In normal circumstances the customer needs to be approved from credit hold to be able to process a sales order. So the new workflow is to bypass the credit hold status if the customer pays in cash: On Hold → Payment Hold → Open  The termsID parameter to request prepayment is not applicable in this situation because I need to be able to either create a PO from the Sales Order or create a Transfer Order as i do not have the stock available in the selling warehouse. The only way i can do this is if the sales order state is Open.I have created a new state “Payment On Hold” that is triggered from the on hold status if the TermsID is Cash and then can be removed from it to the Open state. The first transition works. The problem is that after I remove “Payment on Hold”, the syst

Replenishment seasonlity factor

Hi!A factor has to be configured in the replenishment seasonality screen but it doesn’t do anything. In this case, a create a Holiday Season with start date 2/14/2022 and end date 2/18/2022 with an 1.25 factor. Now, I run the Prepare Replenishment screen considering that I’ve changed the business date of the system to 2/14/2022 and when I review the Quantity To process or the Reorder point values, non of them has being affected by the 1.25 factor: This means the factor is only being used for Forecasting?
