Allow changing subaccount on AP Bill from PO Receipt?

Hi everyone, I’m implementing Requisitions / Purchasing and have run into a problem due to the following requirement: PO receipt needs to have a net 0.00 impact on the GL, because COGS/expense needs to wait until the AP bill is created. But also need subaccount to be editible on the AP bill. My solution was to put the same account as both PO Accrual and COGS on the non-stock item, so receipt is a wash. If I use the expense account for both, it shows up on the AP bill. But the subaccount is not editable on AP bill if the line is from a receipt. I see the reason for this because the AP bill should always debit the credited account/sub from receipt, but in this case the receipt already offsets itself. I believe the simplest workaround is to skip receiving since these are non-stock items, but I’ve been told that is not a viable option from their process perspective. Would love to hear any ideas! SO document discounts - shipping charges being included

Hello,I have a customer who uses document level discounting on sales orders and when they do this, Acumatica is taking the discount off of the freight charges.Is there a way to not include freight/shipping charges in document level discounts?Thanks!

Approval Maps using Employees by Filter

Hi, I have a client that requires two people to approve the PO. I have set the Approver to “Employees by Filter” in the used Rule Action however once the first user Approves the PO is approving without the second approval.The settings i have used are below. What am i missing? Any help appreciated. Laura

'Backorder' tracking on Inventory Transfers

Any ideas? My customer would like to be able to track a type of 'backorder' on a transfer between warehouses. If in one warehouse the goods are normally stored and a transfer to another warehouse is needed. When there is insuffiencent quantity in the standard warehouse to fullfill the transfer, a ‘backorder’ transfer is then created.

We created a Customer Sales Price specific to warehouse: Prices aimed to a particular warehouse.This is a Sales Price Worksheet. On a Sales Order for the customer the customer price for the warehouse updateOn at Project Quote for the same customer the sales price is not updating from the Sales Price worksheet. The Customer setup for shipping instructions is setup for a default warehouse.Is this correct that the Project quote does update on the warehouse setup for the customer

Filtered GI shows has blank pages and erratic number of results

I have a custom GI (attached) that shows SOs left joined to CRActivity. The purpose of this report (and join) is to find SOs that don’t have a task attached that has the name “Next Checkin”. This is how we make sure orders are being checked up on regularly.The full listing looks fine, but the filtered results show blank pages. If I skip forward a number of pages, it might show 1, 2, 10, or really any weird number of results. If I sort by SO number descending, all the non-blank results come to the top of the listing. However, adding a condition that eliminates all records with empty SO numbers, or SO numbers that are equal to ‘’ has no effect.Any thoughts on how to get rid of these blank records?

Converting existing related Stock Items into Matrix Items

Before knowing that Template/Matrix Items existed, and how they worked, a number of sets of various related Stock Items were created individually (most with associated BOMs). For simplification of maintenance and development moving forward, I would like to convert these existing related Stock Items to Matrix Items. Is there a prescribed methodology for doing so?

Inventory Internal Request

The company purchases consumables in bulk e.g. stationery, refreshments. Once received into inventory, employees request these items with the employee's manager approval. The request also should specify the expense subaccount. Inventory clerk should then be able to pick up the request and issue quantities on request or less but not more.Creating an "internal" order type seemed brilliant, selling the items at zero price. The only drawback was all order types including trade orders use the same shipment numbering sequence. How best can this be setup?

Restocking fee for a customer

Our customer returned an item and we issued their money back. I did a RC to return the inventory item back, issued the CM and refunded the credit memo all for the full amount. However, they are paying a restocking fee so now I have a balance leftover. The CM is still showing as open. How do I close the loop and process the restocking fee?

Matrix Items and UOM Conversions

I am wondering if Acumatica has the ability to do this:We have metal coils we purchase by the pound. We purchase different thicknesses and colors. All coils are the same width. We want to make templates of the coils so that we can order custom lengths for each one, but we do not want to create thousands of individual part numbers that would all have to be managed individually. Creating them using the matrix feature, all of them can be managed through the template item. The question comes in with the UOM conversions. As mentioned, we purchase these in pounds, but we will be selling these in each. The resulting sheets that will be cut down to the ordered length will vary in its dimension. A customer could order any length, what I need to figure out is how to cost that, based on the template item. I assume that I need to use the conversion table some how but I cannot figure out how to make it work correctly. Each matrix item created from the template would have a different weight, based o

When pulling a Inventory Valuation report the “QTY on Hand” appears on the report but when exporting that to Excel the QTY is missing. Anyone have a trick to make the QTY on Hand appear on the exported version?

Move material already issued to a production order to a new location for inspection

Hello,Sometimes it is found that material already issued to a production order is not good.It needs to be moved out of WIP and off of the production order into an inspection warehouse or location.It needs to be inspected at this point to determine if it will be returned to vendor, credit requested, or it can somehow be used.What transaction will allow us to to return this specific material into inventory, not to the original location but to a new inspection warehouse or location?If it is found to be defective, how do we return it to the vendor since the original PO receipt is complete?Thanks!

Inventory average unit cost per branch

As per previous questions I have a query about finding the average unit cost of an item per branch.We have 3 branches in the tenant with 2 currencies. Within the main branch we have 6 warehouses all one currency. I am trying to present a GI report / Inquiry that gives the user a view of all stock available to sell across the branch per warehouse with one average cost for the branch. The INItemCost object does not allow for a siteid but does have a CuryId.I am using the following objects:INItemCost, INItemStats,INLocation,INLocationStatus,INSite,INSiteStatus,InventoryItem. Is there perhaps another costing object that I can use? Thanks

How to correct erroneously created drop ship reciept without creating new sales order or drop ship purchase order?

HI,When create the purchase receipt, the sales order’s shipped qty column indicates the receipt qty as shipped. But the created purchase receipt was incorrect and the user need to cancel (Return or something to correct the error) the release purchase receipt and receipt again the correct qty.Once we create the Return using the following button, it allows to receipt again the same PO qty.After create the return, Then we have create the purchase receipt again with correct qty. system allow to do the same but the SO shipped qty indicates as followWhat is the process to correct the erroneously created drop ship reciept without doing any adjustments to the created SO? or is there any other process?Thanks

How to default sales/cogs account and sub based on reason codes

The client needs to have COGS account on a warranty sales order default to a different account. However, entering a reason code on the sales order line does not change the account/sub on the line.

Unshipped Amount Calculation

Hey Folks, wondering if anyone has had any challenges with some of the “TOTALS” metrics on the SO. We are looking to understand how the Unshipped Amount is calculated on a SO because it does not match the formula presented:The formula per the HELP icon is:The sum of unshipped amounts calculated for the lines with nonzero unshipped quantities of stock items. The unshipped amount for each line is calculated as the amount in the Ext. Price column (after Line-level discounts were applied) divided by the line quantity (the Qty. column) and multiplied by the unshipped quantity (the Open Qty. column). At the moment of order creation when no item quantities are shipped, the amount is equal to the Line Total; this total does not include any freight amount. This box appears only if the Inventory feature is enabled on the Enable/Disable Features form.Metrics:As you can see the Unshipped Amount = 7,336.54 If you review the lines for the particular SO in question we see:It seems like the Unshipped
