Device Hub - Print on separate printer

Forum|alt.badge.img

Example -
Customer A having X printer for shipping or carrier labels and they have setup the preferences for printing with X printer.

Customer B having Y printer for shipping or carrier labels and when they try to print printer prints on X printer instead of Y.

How we can add separate printer for separate customer and their location?

HI @nasirh85

You can choose the printer under individual users.

To Specify the Default Printer for the Current User

You use the User Profile (SM203010) form to specify the default printer of the user account to which you are signed in to the system. Proceed as follows:

  1. In the Info area, click your user name and select My Profile.
  2. On the Printing Settings tab, select the printer in the Default Printer box.
  3. Save your changes.

Here is also more information on different ways you can print to various printers.

Hi @nasirh85

You can set the printer access for the device hub ID used for different locations.

Also you can set the default printer in my profile screen.

HI @nasirh85

Here is also a How To on printing labels. You could possibly put them on a schedule with a certain customer to a certain printer.
