Acumatica announced the deprecation of Authorize.net in April 2024 with support for Authorize.net ending on March 31, 2025. Customers using Authorize.net were directed to switch to an alternative payment provider by the March 31, 2025 deadline to avoid disruptions in their payment processing.
While many customers have already made this switch, Acumatica understands some customers may require additional time. Therefore, we have extended the end of support date to June 30th, 2025. Acumatica does not anticipate any further extensions.
Acumatica strongly recommends customers to switch to Acumatica Payments, prior to June 30, 2025, to avoid risks of disruption with their payment processing. While the integration may work after June 30, 2025 for customers using Acumatica 2024 R2 or earlier, the integration will not be supported and may not function at any time after this date.
If you are still using Authorize.net, it is imperative that you reach out to your partner for assistance in switching to Acumatica Payments, or alternatively, you may contact Acumatica Payments directly by emailing ERPsales@acumaticapay.com and a salesperson will assist you.

Here are some helpful FAQs regarding Authorize.net deprecation.
Why is Acumatica discontinuing support for Authorize.net?
Acumatica continually evaluates security, privacy, and compliance standards to ensure the most robust and safe solution for our customers. As part of this process, due to technological challenges related to maintaining a secure integration with Authorize.net, we announced deprecation as it was not feasible to maintain the higher standards set for Acumatica’s built in integrations.
When does this change take effect?
The change was scheduled to take effect on March 31, 2025 but has now been extended to June 30, 2025 to allow our partners and customers who have not completed their transition more time to switch. Acumatica does not anticipate any further extensions.
Can I continue using Authorize.net on an older version of Acumatica?
No. As of June 2025, Auth.net is not supported on Acumatica across all versions. While transactions may continue to work for some customers, continued operation should not be relied on as the integration may not function any time after this date. Customers must start the migration process to Acumatica Payments to avoid potential disruptions or fees related to payment processing.
Do you plan to discontinue any other third party payment solutions?
While we don’t have any plans to do so at this time, Acumatica’s continued hardening of our security standards may lead to additional restrictions to other payment processing solutions in our ecosystem. This is one of the key reasons why Acumatica strongly recommends using Acumatica Payments as the solution of choice.
In the event of additional deprecations, Acumatica is committed to allowing ample time for our customers to take action.
