Service contract based on number of appointments

Forum|alt.badge.img

Our client bases the Service Contract on number of visits.  Sometimes they cannot be complete in the period that was covered.  Is it possible to set up Service Contracts based on the number of visits?

Hi @MComan62

Have you thought of using the Expiration Type: Renewable and the Schedule Generation Type: Appointment? That way it could renew for you to bill?

HI @MComan62

You can have an Expiration Type of Unlimited on the Contract which will allow it to never expire to add to it.

Service Orders can have numerous appointments on them so that is not an issue.

They are concerned with not catching the expiration of the contract after the last appointment.  Thats why the number of appointments would be the perfect solution.  They do quarterly services and sometimes that last quarter can be difficult to schedule in the timeframe.
