if we enter bom and put on hold does it affect inventory

No this does not impact inventory - it just keeps you from using the Bill of Material while on hold. Be careful if you create a production order, if you don’t have an active BOM, you won’t get a default Production Bill of Material on the production order.

    No this does not impact inventory - it just keeps you from using the Bill of Material while on hold. Be careful if you create a production order, if you don’t have an active BOM, you won’t get a default Production Bill of Material on the production order.
