Is there a way to default the warehouse of the production order from the bill of material rather than the inventory item?

It sounds like you have the “Default Warehouse” populated with “Wholesale” on the Stock Item record. I would clear this field and try creating another Production Order. This would still require you to select the Warehouse manually however I don’t see an issue with this. The easiest order of operations with the least amount of clicks is to select the Inventory ID then the Warehouse which should pull in the Default BOM for that Warehouse.
Instead of selecting the Warehouse you may be able to open the References tab and select the appropriate BOM to see if it selects the “TRUCK01” Warehouse automatically. I have not tried that.
+1When you create the Production Order you set the Inventory ID and then the Warehouse. If you have BOMs defaulted within the Item Warehouse Details then it will pull them automatically.

Thanks Andrew. For clarity I will explain my requirement.
Finished Good has WHOLESALE as the default warehouse at item level.
BOM created for this finished good. But for BOM TRUCK01 is selected as the warehouse.
Now when a production order is created, once the item is selected prod order warehouse is defaulting to WHOLESALE. What I want is the warehouse defaulting to TRUCK01
(I know we can select TRUCK01 manually. But hoping to see this as default.)
