How to add new sections to datasource within a Customization Project Editor?

I want to add more fields (in the red box) into the customization field, but I can’t figure out how to do it? What’s a way to do this?

Where I want to add more fields

Crestwood posted a blog post that talks about adding reports to screens through the customization project editor. I think that will get you to where you want to be. If not, post back!

Those will be PXActions that are typically rendered as buttons or menu items. They aren’t fields. Some will be rendered at the top of the screen, some will be in the [...] menu button drop down, and others will be rendered along the top of grids on the screen.

What is it that you want to add - what is the requirement that you’re wanting to solve?

@Django We want to put a link to a report of the specific disassembly order at the top of the disassembly page.

@Django I followed these steps and tried to publish, however, when I did, I got the follow error:

The projects cannot be merged because the level of the AAM0015[24R1][10142024]1 project is not specified. Specify the level of the AAM0015[24R1][10142024]1 project and publish the projects again.

Specify the level of one of your customization projects. :)

So this message implies that you have two different customization projects that are modifying the same screen. You’re being asked to give a level to the customization project so that one of those customization project has precedence over the other.

Pick one of the customization projects and give it a non-zero value in the level column.

The help says about the Level field:

A number representing the level that is used to resolve any conflicts that arise if multiple modifications of the same items of the website are merged.
If you leave this box empty, the default value is 0.

Use higher values for projects that contain more important changes.

That worked perfectly. That was indeed the issue.
