Enabled Disabled User Defined Fields on Shipment screen when Status is closed

Yes this is possible on your workflow on the fields tab in your second screenshot add the individual UDF fields with the disabled unticked

I also tried to enable the USF field from workflow, but it is not working. seems it is bug.

It will be possible through the customization.

I have checked like that also but still its not working. It is working in Sales Order and Invoice screen.

But in Shipment its not working.
