We want our delivery persons to execute the action ‘confirm the shipment’ at the shipping location mentioned in the shipment form. To track whether it had happened or not we want to track the location of that user when performing the action.
Is there any possibility to track the location of the user when they are performing relevant actions using different forms?

+10I assume you are using the FS and have enabled “Track Location” for the user. If this is the case then yes you can.
If not you will need to enable location tracking in SM201010 for the users
and then you will be able to access the location history from PX.FS.FSGPSTrackingHistory and PX.FS.FSGPSTrackingRequest

If the field services functionality is used in your system, and the Show Location Tracking check box is selected on the Service Management Preferences (FS100100) form, you can view the latest location of the user on maps of the Staff Appointments on Map (FS301100) and Staff Routes on Map (FS301000) forms.
Location Tracking Dustance from the User Security workspace, is activated when the 'Track Location' checkbox is selected on the Users screen > Location Tracking tab.
Alternative to, or in conjunction with the Field Services info above, here is how that Track Location checkbox works from the Location Tracking tab of the Users profile, :
