Carrier Service returned an error. 1000: Authentication Failed

Forum|alt.badge.img

Using the Fedex plugin on v2022 R1.  We get this error when clicking Confirm Shipment.  The Shop for Rates button works fine.  This is connecting to the Production Fedex account.

When using the Test Fedex account, we don't get the error.  It seems there's a setting on the Production account that we're missing?

yes that looks correct assuming FedEx has you set up with a production account.  Did you go through the certification process?  Either way, I would call FedEx web service support at 877-339-2774.  They are very helpful.

@brucewarrell96 - An authentication error is a generic error always related to your carrier login / account.  It is saying the system is unable to connect to the carrier to create the label / shipment.

FedEx has both a Test and Production account with different End Point URLS for each.  I an thinking your URL’s do not match up the account you are using.

There is KB article on the topic of set up FedEx integration here...

https://community.acumatica.com/installation-and-configuration-14/how-to-create-a-fedex-account-to-configure-integration-with-the-carrier-187

The fastest route for you find your specific issue on your account would be to contact FedEx web service support at 877-339-2774.  They are very helpful.

We’re using production credentials for the production account.

@brucewarrell96 I am curious if you were able to resolve this issue?

Yes.  The customer hadn’t gone through the cert process as part of the account setup.  Thanks.

The same error 1000 started showing up today for our customer when attempting to Confirm a Fedex Ground Shipment. They had no issues last week. The Carrier configuration returns a successful connection with the FedEx production credentials. Is anyone else having this issue? Client is calling FedEx support in case there is an outage. Thanks.

The resolution will be the same: customer needs to go through the cert process. Thanks
