Hello,
It would help us to know the source of the email. For example, does this happen when the system auto-emails customer invoices out of AR? Does this happen when you manually Send a report to email and then select the contact?
The answer likely is related to your contact being in the system twice but depending on how the emails are being sent there may be ways to tweak the configuration of the email to avoid the duplicate.
