Question

How do you deal with hundreds of discount codes, but can't install them in Acumatica due to 200 limit cap?

We have multiple campaigns and discount codes running at any time, and we noticed that Acumatica can’t handle all the discount codes. Have have automatic and static types, all forms of types based on customer type and order method. Right now, most of the discount codes are only in BigCommerce since we can’t build them all in Acumatica. it has a 200 discount code limit. We have email, catalog, phone, fax, and online discount codes. Has anyone else run into a similar issue? How are you managing it? Software's, integrations, API, etc… Please let me know. We want to have a platform to manage this for reports too to manage whether the campaigns tied to the discount codes are efficient. Thanks!

I think a lot of companies keep ecommerce discounts separate. When using document discount sync, Acumatica will sync to the external discount field. Syncing discounts this way makes it so you don’t need to maintain the ecommerce discount in Acumatica. You can do an ISNULL([DiscountCode], [ExternalDiscountCode]) to support reporting.

@bwhite49 our issue is that we have a Call Center, so Discount Codes need to be present for them to access too within Acumatica. We do have more built in our Ecommerce platform and it comes in as a Document Discount. Just trying to figure out so Call Center Reps can manually or use automation for discounts.
