Hello! I run a ledger report which includes all our all our Companies. However, I would like a column included on the General Ledger report which indicates which company the line was recorded to. Is this a possibility? Does any one know where I can go?

@Sydneysturtevant Is it an out of the box report or a custom one?

Usually the Branch Column should help with what you need unless the required field value is different.

@hkabiri it must be a custom one. There isn’t a branch column in this report either.

Hi @Sydneysturtevant

Please let us know the ScreenID of the report. I could not find any default report with that name. Looks like you are using a customized report. If its customized report, you may send us the report .rpx file to check furhter.

@Sydneysturtevant As Vijay mentioned it would probably be most helpful to see the report so we can better understand, both the name/screenID of the report and what the output looks like. Separating data by branch can be fairly easy or a little difficult depending on what you’re looking for. It might be that you can just create these columns within the report and set an IIF() function to only display if branch is X, then do the same for branch Y column and branch Z column. Alternatively you might even be able separate the data by grouping sections if that worked better, but if the above IIF functions don’t work out then you’ll might need to create variables to define which data is coming in.

As a last resort you could use subreports and populate only one branch per subreport.

All this would be a little easier to recommend if we could see the report :)
