How to resolve ''The report cannot be opened because it includes a table (ROUTINGNBR) or a field (AccountID) that does not exist" error on printing custom check forms after Acumatica ERP has been upgraded to version 2023 R1.

After the upgrade to Acumatica ERP 2023 R1, I cannot open or print a custom Check Form with Remittance (AP641000) form due to the “The report cannot be opened because it includes a table (ROUTINGNBR) or a field (AccountID) that does not exist” error message as shown in the following screenshot.

There was a change in the CashAccountPaymentMethodDetail DAC sometime around 2022R2 that requires a change for custom check forms, or on the subreport if using a MICR Line. You will need to refresh the schema on the report and change the join to the CashAccountPaymentMethodDetail to use the “CashAccountID” field instead of the obsolete “AccountID” field.
