I’ve modified the sales quote to allow the unit cost to be visible and editable but when I create a sales order from the sales quote the sales order is using the unit cost setup on the stock item and not what I set on the sales quote.  I’m not sure what needs to change in order to get the unit cost on the sales order lines to match what is on the quote line.  Is that something that can be changed? If so how would I go about it?

I believe it is the createSalesOrder action that you would need to override(I’m looking at 2021R2 though so you will want to verify on your version). You should be able to just override it on the QuoteMaint graph(Sales Quote screen). If you use the inspector(Ctrl + Alt) you should be able to click on the button you use to create the order from the sales quote and get the Action Name.

Hi @vpoulson I don’t see Unit Cost field in Sales Quote screen, is it customized field you wanted to display from Sales Quote to Sales Order screen Unit Cost field?

Here is a customization where I made the CuryUnitCost field visible and editable on the opp and the quote.

Presumably you would have to override the action that creates the Sales Order from the quote to override the default unit cost.
