The USPS has recently changed its service packages of First Class, Parcel Select, and Retail Ground services. These services will now be offered under a new service called Ground Advantage. I noticed that the Ship Via choices for stamps.com and EasyPost do not support these recent changes. I have not seen any information from USPS about when they will be retiring these services, but I found a related article from EasyPost. https://www.easypost.com/blog/2023-06-06-upcoming-usps-price-and-service-changes-in-july-2023Users will be able to buy USPS Ground Advantage shipments using the new "GroundAdvantage" service name or the legacy "First" or "ParcelSelect" service names through Jan 21, 2024, at which time the legacy service names will no longer be supported. https://faq.usps.com/s/article/USPS-Ground-Advantage
Hello I'm attempting to create a single import scenario on InventoryItem attributes to update any item attributes without overriding the existing data. When running an import scenario with item InventoryItem attributes, if a field is empty on the import source sheet, then on import, it will override the data in the destination in that field and make it blank. I tested in the mapping sections using ISNULL([WILDLIFE],[Answers.Value]) in the Source field/Value, and had success. The issue I face is attributes that are checkboxes. The date gets imported as "False". I tried various IIF statements, with and without converting the data to different data types, and still no success.
What would be the correct way to send an auto-reply email to all new cases created in Acumatica? Building a Business Event on a Cases (CR306000) will not work as the email address from the sender or reply-to is not stored on the case. Going the route of a GI, I have not been able to achieve this because there is no data point to a case that can be used for the Business Event trigger to stop the email from being sent if more than one email. Under system Email Accounts (SM204002) there is an option called “Reply to unassigned Emails” I have not been able to get that to work. It may not be the correct opinion in our use case. Our use case is a company closure. We want to send an auto replay message letting senders know we will be back soon etc. New cases come from users sending in an email. Most related to a product warranty. These email addresses are not contacts or have any relationship within the Acumatica platform.
I created a CSV data provider with UTF-8 Encoding. Unfortunately, Acumatica encoding of UTF-8 is UTF-8 with BOM. The system that will be reading this data can only except UTF-8. Does anyone have information or a workaround on this topic? Data Provider (SM206015) Exported CSV File
On an Import Scenario (SM2060PL), It does not seem possible to assign Printer Settings to users. The Users (SM201010) screen does not display printer settings. The only way to assign a printer to a specific report is to manually add it to each user's Users Profile (SM203010) screen, which is time-consuming. We need to log in to each Acumatica user's account. I tried an Import Scenario directly to Users Profile (SM203010) screen. But I get an error message "Insert is disabled"In our use case, we have multiple printers and Ship Via options. Users have dedicated printers for printing carriers and other labels. If someone has a solution and can share, That would be helpful. Note: In order for Printer Settings to display on users profile screen you must enable DeviceHub.
We use Honeywell mobile hardware with the Acumatica app with the distribution module. Our delivery drivers experience an issue where the app logs out from their users when connecting to the charger. This issue happens on all the Honeywell hardware styles we use. After testing with their provisioner application and changing Android daydream settings, we reached out to Honeywell, and here is the information. There is a power state change unique to Honeywell devices; we need to make sure we are implementing the Honeywell SDK's for android. The problem exists in the coding; the hardware will report a battery change when taken out of the dock, in which case some apps will log out when they sense a battery change, which needs to be ignored in the coding. Honeywell units have technically three potential power sources: AC power/ Super Capacitor and standard battery discharge. The device is smart enough to manage it automatically but treats all power conditions as a battery change. Does anyone
HeyI was wondering if anyone was able to create a GI with more than 213 Rows. The max seems to be 213. Also, has anyone added new rows to a GI from the XML file? My guess is you need to generate a new RowID; that's something I have not been able to figure out.
I have been working on a business event that triggers an email once a customer creates order from the web portal and falling short. The trigger has not worked if the portal users generate the order. If I change the business event to trigger on record change and then do any modification changes from the ERP side, it works from the portal sales orders. The New field value is set to createdByScreenID and Screen ID = SP700001. Could this be related to the customer's user's account types and users' permissions? Your support is appreciated.
Hi We have the USPS Stamps.com Carrier CS207700 plugin (PX.StampsCarrier.StampsCarrier) set up in Acumatica with our stamp.com account number and user information. Additionally, we have a customer set up using their stamps.com account number. We are facing the issue that stamps.com is charging our account balance and not deducting or connecting with the customer account. We have the ship via set to the corresponding method on the Shipment document and have checked off the settings to Use Customer Account. I have looked over the trace and profiler to see if anything suggests the customer account number or our account number being used. This information does not show. Any support or direction will be helpful. Thanks, Schneur
