I have customer who regularly gets orders from the government with quantities between 50,000 - 150,000.These are usually scheduled over a period of months. They would like to be able to create a manufacturing order for the total monthly quantity and then release smaller (unique) batches to the shop floor and be able to track those batches through clock in/out entries by shop floor personnel. If they created individual manufacturing orders for each of the batches, there would be in excess of 100 manufacturing orders for each monthly delivery and the maintenance would be prohibitive.Thoughts? Thanks for your help!Donna
I have a customer who costs EVERYTHING used to manufacture an item (i.e. pallets, bags, box labels, etc.). But a quantity of 1 is used per manufacturing order, not per piece during an operation. Is there a way to add those items to the BOM without having to have it be a fraction of the item per item produced? Please help :)
We have a customer who has a large quantity of recurring sales orders. Customers reorder the same items on a weekly/monthly/quarterly schedule. They would like to be able to have these recurring orders generated automatically.Today, they’re using quotes as templates for the various recurring customer orders and when it’s time to create an actually sales order, they use the “Copy Order” action to copy the quote to a new sales order. They would like to automate that process.I’d like to use a Business Event to automatically copy the quote to a new sales order through an import scenario.I see that there’s a Field/Action in the import scenario screen for that action, but I don’t know how the rest of the import scenario lines need to be configured to support that function.Has anyone had success with this?
Does anyone know how to display a boolean field as a checkbox on a report?
I need to create an import scenario for the Transfer Order (Sales Order) screen that will select a pre-configured template from the clipboard to load the Transfer Order detail lines.Has anyone successfully done this?
