@alanconroynaw we apologize for the inconvenience, there was a mistake in the documentation. This is available with 2023 R1 Update 13, 2023 R2 Update 4, and later. The documentation has been updated to reflect this.
Hi @rickh45, with 2024 R1, we have an integration to Avalara Exemption Certificate Management (ECM). You are able to:create/update customer records from Acumatica to Avalara can be done in bulk view available exemption certificates for a customer includes certificate ID, state, reason for exemption, effective date, expiration date, certificate status, company code you can also save or print the certificates request for new certificates for a customer straight from Acumatica, using Avalara templates update customer record in Avalara from Acumaticalet us know here if you were looking for additional functionality once you have had a chance to test the features.
@rickh45 not with the current implementation. You can launch the request process from Acumatica (using the email templates created in Avalara first). However, if you already have the file (PDF/image) you’d have to upload that to the appropriate customer record on Avalara side. We have opted out of that feature with our initial launch. Mainly because we need to validate use cases from customers learn more about the behavior. For instance, if you upload the certificate from Acumatica without having to login to Avalara, should Acumatica also store that file in the database? Now you will have the same file in Acumatica and in Avalara. Then it’s a case of knowing which one is the system of record for the certificates and which one can be trusted/is the latest one.Another option could be that you upload the file through Acumatica and send it to Avalara for the customer record but not store that file in the Acumatica database. But that could have its own technical challenges and we’d need to
@kristybrooks83 it might be possible via a customization for 2022 R2, but you’d have to engage with Acumatica Services to investigate this option.
@yoelb you followed the directions in the user guide available from the Gmail Integration page (including the access rights steps)? Gmail Integration | Community (acumatica.com)And published the appropriate version of the Gmail integration customization package in your Acumatica instance?
@MattWSM which Acumatica version are you working on?
@MattWSM - we found this bug for some users and pushed a fix with 2023 R2 Update 10 (23.210).
@jennifer39 please refer to this knowledgebase article for this known issue: How to resolve the 'Sandbox credentials not allowed in this environment' error when trying to sign in to the FedEx Carrier Service external application | Community (acumatica.com)
@debbiereed72 Good question! UPS switched to REST-based so please use the PX.UpsRestCarrier.UpsRestCarrier. This is also in the configuration guide (linked with the original post) and the help files will have this information as well. The PX.UpsCarrier.UpsCarrier as of now will not work any longer and will be removed as an option in a future Acumatica release.
@dsimmerly transactions in Avalara get locked status when Avalara sends the tax record to the Government API (i.e. when the user reports the tax transaction). We have seen it occur with users when they manually commit the transaction in Avalara, without releasing the document in Acumatica. Please create a case so our support team can investigate and provide suggestions or escalate as necessary.
@alanconroynaw please create a support ticket with us for this bug that you found in 2023 R1 version.
@debbiereed72 thank you for bringing this issue up and sorry you had to go through the hunt to find the production URLs. We have updated the configuration guide to include this information.
@cdelacruz the sandbox URLs are mentioned in the help files: https://help.acumatica.com/(W(2))/Help?ScreenId=ShowWiki&pageid=3facd1eb-c78d-4582-9d2b-18522ddb4d4d We don’t mention Production URLs, except for the Login EndPoint. We will update our documentation to get those added in the future. In the meantime, for those looking for this information, the FedEx EndPoint URLs for configuring the FedEx REST integration are: ID Sandbox URL Production URL LOGIN ENDPOINT https://apis-sandbox.fedex.com/oauth/token https://apis.fedex.com/oauth/token RATE ENDPOINT https://apis-sandbox.fedex.com/rate/v1/rates/quotes https://apis.fedex.com/rate/v1/rates/quotes CANCEL ENDPOINT https://apis-sandbox.fedex.com/ship/v1/shipments/cancel https://apis.fedex.com/ship/v1/shipments/cancel SHIP ENDPOINT https://apis-sandbox.fedex.com/ship/v1/shipments https://apis.fedex.com/ship/v1/shipments
