@moswalt96 - With our 2022 R1 release, we will be “unlinking” the Project Activity/Outlook requirement to have Construction, it will be based on having Project Financials (with or without Construction).
Hi Toon,I assume you’re asking about Project Totals for each column within the Balances tab? Currently, we total by account group, so I wanted to confirm your suggestion.Thanks.Joel
@sean21 - There are two types of email logging here. The first item would be automatically capturing the email response when sending the email from Acumatica. This uses system email accounts, incoming mail processing settings and some other conditions. The second item is using the Acumatica Outlook Add-In. This looks like your attachment, so that is dependent on the settings within Enable/Disable Features. Construction Project Management would be required for logging activities to Project Issues and RFI’s.
Ray,You’ll want to check your version. With Acumatica 2021 R1, we allow files to be uploaded to a project from the mobile application. There were some earlier discrepancies between Android and iOS users, they are both OK with 2021 R1.Within the Project Summary, on the Android version, you’ll see a paperclip in the upper right corner, while on the iOS version, you’ll see ‘Files’ in the bottom left.If you do not see this, please contact support to have it reviewed.Thanks.Joel
@JohnBeiler61 I have not had other requests for a CRM integration yet. Typically, I see companies using the Procore Pre-Construction functions and want to integration into the ERP once the project is awarded. Same workflow with folks using Acumatica CRM. Once project awarded create in ERP and sync with Procore.Once the touch points are determined between the two systems, you may look at the export/import scenarios for integration.
@angied - Meeting Minute entry is on our short-term roadmap, please see idea; https://acumatica-en.insided.com/idea/3428 and enter your vote. It helps us understand who asks for things and also provides us a way to reach out if there are questions.Thanks.
@jbaker - There are a couple of ways to do this;Emails sent out of Acumatica will have a link back to the Project Issue (or other document) that can capture responses automatically. It is based on matching the subject line in the email with the document. With the Outlook Add-In, you should have the ability to select the person, then ‘Log Activity’ to the corresponding entity, in this case, Project Issue. This will copy the email to the Project Issue Related Activities tab; Hope this helps! Joel
@wstork @Tkrause - Have you been able to make progress with the integration? If you have questions on the integration, let me know. I’m happy to help. Joel
Currently, within Acumatica, a negative commitment change order is possible, but only when applied to an existing subcontract detail line and the new value does not go negative (less than unbilled amount). Users cannot create a commitment change order that creates a “new” negative subcontract detail line. That is an open item on the roadmap, planned for 2021 R2. We are looking at what it will take to get those changes specifically singled out for earlier releases. The key is the change order commitment detail line status. It will be 'update' or 'new'. If update, negative OK, based on balance. If new, negative not available.
@johnshaddix38 and others;Thank you for the feedback. The two items represent different areas of focus. Project Budget Forecast helps clients to compare actual costs and income to budgeted entries, by financial period.Cost Projection is used when clients wish to forecast a few specific numbers (Cost to Complete, Cost at Completion, Percent Complete). It is geared toward a Project Manager projection/review, allowing different levels of consolidation (Cost Projection Classes).Currently, the Cost Projection values are not on the standard WIP Report but could be added via the Report Designer. They are visible within the Project/Cost Budget tab, and can be added to any Generic Inquiries you may have (you’ll see CostProjectionxxx fields within the PMCostBudget table). We are working to enhance the entry and reporting capabilities surrounding Cost Projections and have been reviewing the excellent suggestions made here. @bbarker3 – There should be a ‘Copy Revision’ button available in th
