We have set up automatic credit hold in Acumatica.  Can this credit hold be synced to Big Commerce, so if a customer on credit hold tries to place an order on Big Commerce, the customer is told in Big Commerce the customer is on credit hold and prohibited from placing a Big Commerce order?

Hi @dougmcbride79  -  love this idea and agree it would be a great solution to provide.

At this time, BC doesn’t allow us to control the customer’s buying capability from the ERP. We’ve talked with their product team about the use case, they understand and have added to their backlog. But that’s not “proof” that you’ll see it soon (they have a very long backlog).

If you want to solve this today, the best path is to work with your VAR to find a BC Developer who can build a BigCommerce solution which will accept this information from the ERP and control the buying experience of the customers who are “On Hold”. If your VAR has questions I can point them in the right direction.

Thanks for always sharing your input and ideas. Really appreciate it.
