Question

How to improve logo quality on report writer documents

Hi Everyone,

I was hoping someone might be able to assist me with an issue we have with our logo appearing pixelated on our outgoing AR invoices. Can anyone direct me to where I can find the logo requirements or how to upload the logo to report writer so it doesn’t get so compressed.

This is how our logo looks on the printed copy on the screen and looks even worse once actually printed.You can see the edges are very blurry, and the text is not easy to read. Basically is there a way for me to get the logo in report writer without the compression that is currently happening.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. We are in the process of updating our external facing documents and this one is a serious hurdle.

@Epapadimas

Logo can be picked from the companies screen.

Please find the recommended size for better visibility

@Epapadimas It looks like the image is very small and the image box it populates is blowing it up. I would make sure the size of the image matches the image box on the report. If you open the report in Report Designer you can see the size if you click the box:

If you have the image file locally you can right click it and check the properties or open it in something like MS Paint and it will show the dimensions of the image.

@BenjaminCrisman @Manikanta Dhulipudi

Thank you both for your help. I will have a look at the file size we currently have uploaded, and compare this to our report.

I will let you guys know if I get it working 😁

@Epapadimas Did you end up getting the image sized correctly?

@BenjaminCrisman  -- i was able to confirm that the logo filze size and the report writer logo size did not line up which is likely why the distortion was visible.

I am just waiting on an updated logo from marketing before i can test the sizing adjustments, however the sizing difference and that the display format of the logo being set to scale, is the likely reason for the distorted logo.

Thanks again for all the help
