Hello,

I m a new user of Acumatica,  I would ask the other more experimented users, is there some way to retrieve data from the cloud database down to Excel like I was used to do with my MS SQL Server database, via Power Query fonctions (I had of course the Server address, username and password to be authorized to get in) ?

thank you very much.

Hi Cai,

You have a few options:

The advantages of Velixo are numerous: ability to drilldown to Acumatica, better performance (data caching and smart refresh, ability to filter results based on cell values), inline functions that let you use data anywhere and not just in a table, support for single sign-on, Mac/Excel Online support, and more… check this video for a full demo or this one for a presentation on Generic Inquiry functions. Disclaimer: I built this product 😉

Thank you Gabriel for your proposals, I will have a look at the OData connector before considering the second option.

thanks again!

Hi Tim,

I saw your videos posted on youtube, they are really helpful and give me delighting clues about how to deploy the futur work fields.

thank you again!

PS: I m myself an advanced Excel report designer, I m just starting with Acumatica, it s wonderful to see there is already a so developped community build up.  I feel it would be a prominent love story between me and Acumatica :)
