Does anyone notice this? If we have an Unit Price entered first in Change Request and then enter the Unit Cost, the Unit Price will be overriden to the same as Unit Cost.

Hello,

I am looking in the Help, Form Reference section where each field is defined & Explained. Below is Project Quote help. Next I selected the Estimates tab, and scrolled to the Cost & Price fields shown below.

It seems the Project Quote is not using the % Markup field from Project Preferences. Quotes DO use Sales Pricing (such as for the customer or item, promotions, etc.).

Hello,

The behavior is described in Acumatica Help for Change Requests:

  1. Cost defaults from Inventory Stock Item (if used).
  2. Price Markup % on Price/Cost tab of the Stock Item is used to populate the Price for the item on a Change Request’s Estimate tab.
  3. If Price Markup % on the Stock Item = 0% then the Price will be set to the Cost of the Stock Item, unless Default Price Markup % is populated in Project Preferences with something other than 0%.

Laura, how does it work differently with Project Quote? In Project Quote, updating Unit Cost is not overriding Unit Price with Default Price Markup% as 0.
