Hello all,
I’m fairly new to Acumatica, and wanted to know how all of you have installed databases, i.e. Microsfot SQL Server or MySQL. The Aumatica instance is in the cloud but the database would be on prem. I supposed there could be a way to move it.
My goal is to write SQL to query the database using DAC’s, but visualizing those DAC’s in the database so that I can see the schema.
Does anyone have a set of instructions? Protocols needed, etc?

Yes, I have a local demo copy of Acumatica on my C:\ drive, including the free Developer Edition of Microsoft SQL Server. As far as instructions, I used the installation guide for the Demo system.
Our development team at Klear Systems also has servers where they restore client tenants as needed. They back up using Snapshots from the Tenant screen of Acumatica hosted sites, and restore copies of the tenants locally.
