My suggestion would be to change your screen to be a processing screen that natively supports the scheduling system. There are some things you could do with an unbound filter to determine what logic to execute etc.

Hi @ramya15,

You can check Business Events but I don’t think you will be able to schedule to run a specific time interval. But there are other triggers which can start the business event. For more details on it, kindly refer,

Good Luck.!

Hi @Vignesh Ponnusamy ,

If i use Business event then i should have a GI right.

But my scenario is to pull the data from another system in to Acumatica(API Integration). For that i have a action button , so i need to schedule that action to reterive the data into Acumatica.

Shal we have a call on this?

Regards,

Ramya

Hi @ramya15,

Yeah, considering security or SaaS resource management reasons, I don’t think you can schedule a thread within Acumatica.

Alternatively, you could try the following,

  • Add the Action(that pulls data from another system) to endpoint
  • Create and host a program in different server to invoke the action on a specific time as required

This can give you more control on scheduling and invoking the action as required. Hope that helps.!

Since you have a PXAction you should be able to create a processing screen which will, in turn, allow you to schedule the process.  The T240 training would be my starting point.
