While creating sales order and adding line items in so line i am encountering this error. Below is the screenshot of the error. I am not able to find out the actual cause of the error. Please help.

Details : Name: Aggregate Validation: PX.Objects.SO.SOOrder+orderQty. Below is screenshot.

We already upgraded within R2, both 206 and 209 but still issue remains there. Please help how to debug this issue as in my code there’s no exception throwing. Let me know if there’s any specific settings or locations to look out for.

This error message was coming due to calculation code written for totalling the orderqty. Commented out that code as the DAC field already has a formula associated with it. Removing that assigment code resolved the issue.

Have you tried this article?

https://community.acumatica.com/troubleshooting-242/starting-from-acumatica-erp-2023-r1-update-10-and-2023-r2-update-2-a-validation-for-calculating-sales-and-purchase-orders-values-has-been-implemented-and-a-data-corruption-state-has-been-detected-error-might-be-recieved-in-some-cases-19416?tid=19416&fid=242

Some of the issues might be ISV/Customization related, testing without customizations published will help localizing the issue.

If you tried that and it is still reproduced on customization-free environment, I recommend to open a support ticket

The error message mentions ‘aggregate validation’. I can only assume that may refer to a BQL query aggregate. Are you running any BQL queries that contain aggregates?

Hi @eleanorp - It appears your account wasn’t attached to your customer account. I have updated that so you should now be able to view the KB.

Hi @JWS539 - Access is controlled by your account in Acumatica CRM. I can’t change that. You would need to work with your partner of record to obtain the information.

Hi Aguilera, In my case , In the header part of the SoOrder document from 2023r2 and onwards its calculating the values on its own. So you need to check your code if there’s any piece of code that is trying to recalculate and save . Solution is to comment out such codes , that are recalculating any base acumatica fields. It will work.

Hi,

My case was slightly different to an issue that directly affected the quantity.  In my case I was overriding the Convert Sales Order to Quote process and only wanting to copy certain lines.  There was a test on the InventoryItem and then based on that a Delete on SOLine (the highlighted line below).  It was the highlighted line that was causing the problem.  My fix was to replace it with a set to zero (line immediately below):

And then add in a handler to do the delete on SOOrder:

Thanks,

John.

Hello!

Nevermind, I noticed I didn’t enter a field for order nbr. Yet another error appear. How can I accept that?

Thank you very much for your responses yet I don’t know where I can see the code, I’ve always worked with the import scenario screen. SM206025.
Is there a way I can do it from there or do I need to see the code? And if I need it, how can I see it?

Hi AFAGuilera,

If you are using import scenario’s without any customisation (ie code), then the advice above isn’t going to be of much help to you.  There may not be any code to see.  Have you checked SM204505 to confirm for sure that there is no customisation affecting sales orders. If there is not I’m not sure on next steps.
